The bus arrived 30 mins late. We only spent 40 mins in Masca which did not give enough time to get to the end and back. Meal in restaurant was bad, raw veggie burger and grey overcooked frozen veg. Was not what was hyped up by guide. Too many stops at Teidi, not enough time in villages. Guides were great and safe driving. Were also told by rep that cable car was included and we would be going to top which did not happen. I double checked thls with him as it made a difference to trip taken.

Your adventure kicks off by heading south into Teide National Park – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – climbing through a dense pine forest. There's a pit stop at Chirche viewpoint, which often overlooks cloud-shrouded terrain below. The scenery around here is still bursting with greenery. But as we journey deeper into the national park, you'll encounter volcanic landscapes that could easily be on the moon, Venus or Mars. Desolate, rock-strewn badlands. A stop at Roques de Garcia allows you to take some pics near these iconic rock formations, with the volcano's cone in the background.
Grab a last look at the lava-scarred landscapes at Poleos viewpoint before dropping into a family-run restaurant for a lunch made from seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Rounding off the day is a visit to Masca – a hard-to-reach hamlet perched on a ridge in a deep volcanic gorge. Enjoy free time to poke around and take in the vistas.
